Environmental protection is a priority for the organizers of the Trail Alsace by UTMB®. This is why, for the fourth year, a public transport service is offered to runners and their supporters to get to the start of their race and follow the event in the most responsible way possible.
BOOK YOUR 'RACE FOLLOWER' SHUTTLE
These reservations are exclusively for support teams (crew, family, friends, ...). We recommend calculating in advance the accessible aid stations based on your runner's plan and the scheduled shuttle timings provided by the organization.
A shuttle system has been set up to facilitate travel for supporterst to designated aid stations where assistance is permitted. The shuttles operate in a loop between Obernai and various life bases, with stops adapted to the progress of the runners.
The transport starts at the aid station closest to the starting point and continues to the next aids stations as the runners advance. Once all runners have passed through an aid stationm the shuttles will no longer stop there. After each loop, the shuttles return to Obernai.
- Shuttles run only at the times and stops specified by the organizers. These schedules are subject to change and will be communicated accordingly.
- Please arrive 20 minutes before your shuttle departure.
- You can refer to the bus schedules and stops provided below.
- Transport passes are non-refundable.

GENERAL INFORMATION
- Is the package personalized? Each transportation package is personalized and can only be used by one person.
- If my runner cancels, can I cancel my package? Yes, if your runner decides not to participate, you can cancel your package until 10 May 2025, with the possibility of a refund excluding service fees. To make a request, please send us an email through the contact form here. No requests will be accepted after this date.
- Can I access everywhere with my package? No. The transportation package allows access only to the specific checkpoints of the chosen race.
- Do I need to book a specific time, or can I board any available bus? You can board any bus of your choice during the race days corresponding to your package, except for the one taking you to the starting point, where reservation is mandatory.
- How can I return to the starting line after the race? The package is designed to follow the runner from the starting line to the finish line in Obernai. For this reason, you and your runner will need to arrange your own transportation for your return.
- Can I follow another race with my runner's package or go to the start of another race? No, if you want to follow another race, you need to purchase a bus package.
- Are children allowed on the transportation? Our bus system is not allowed for children under 3 years old, due to possible overnight waits and sometimes challenging weather conditions.
- Are pets allowed on the buses? No, pets are not allowed on the buses.
- Can I take the bus with my bicycle? Yes, you will need to disassemble your bicycle and store it in a suitable cover. However, the storage spaces vary on each bus. It's possible that the bus you want to take may not have the capacity to accommodate your bicycle.
